Au choix du texte, je me tourne vers le poème « He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven » de William Buttler Yeats pour d’obscures raisons…Toujours est-il que pour le « petit » je décide rapidement de le présenter sous forme d’accordéon…et après maints essais, c’est la version la plus simple qui est retenue. L’idée de base était de « dérouler » le texte, à la manière d’un tapis ou d’un tissu, ce qui collait parfaitement avec le contenu du poème.
After presented us the subject accompanied by a lesson of folding, our two speaker left us with our problems of texts and working, the constraint being to create a multiple object in relation with touch for the “small one”, and a single object to touch with the eyes for the “large one”! For the choice of the text, I turn to the poem “He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven” of William Buttler Yeats for obscure reasons… For the “small one” I decides quickly to present it in the form of accordion… and after many tests, it is the simplest version retained. The basic idea was to “unroll” the text, with the manner of a carpet or a fabric, which stuck perfectly with the contents of the poem.
J’ai voulu présenté le poème en bilingue, en retournant l’accordéon, on peut ainsi lire la version française.
I wanted presented the poem into bilingual, while turning over the accordion, one can read the French version.
Par la suite, ce qui était utilisé pour maintenir l’accordéon fermé s’est transformé en présentoir (utilisant une chute de découpe). A l’impression on obtient ainsi deux textes et leurs deux présentoirs sur un A3 avec des chutes minimes.
After, which was used to maintain the accordion closed was transformed into display unit (using a fall). At the impression I obtain two texts and their two display units on A3 with tiny falls.
Pour le « Grand » (qui a pour but d’utiliser un seul mot du texte dans l’espace) j’ai utilisé le mot « Rêves » qui est repris trois fois à la fin du poème. Il a adapté le même principe que pour le « petit » mais avec une seule lettre par A3. Le « Grand » est également bilingue, sous un autre angle on lit « Ever » qui n’est autre que le mot rêve à l’envers…c’est avec cette solution franglaise que l’on peut lire « rêve, toujours ».
For the “Large one” (the purpose was to use only one word of the text in space) I used the word “Dreams” who is repeat three times at the end of the poem. It adapted the same principle than the “small one” but with only one letter by A3. The “large one” is also bilingual, under another angle we can reads “Ever” which use the letters of the word “rêve”(dream for French) turned over… that’s with this Frenglish solution one can read “ever dream,”.
