Very pleasant day, first of all we discovered places, meeting photos, then all the history of Aste-Béon is told to us, revealed, and with cheese of ewe we will be able to even say that we tasted there!
L’intérêt avec La falaise aux vautours, c’est le lien qu’elle a tissé avec les bergers de Béon! Comme nous l’a expliqué le maire, Les bergers ont sauvé les vautours puis ces derniers les ont aidés à leurs tours en amenant de l’argent dans les caisses de Béon. Ainsi nous somme passé d’une dizaine de berger à l’envol à une vingtaine. La démographie des vautours a d’ailleurs évolué en parallèle.
The interest with cliff of vultures, it’s the bond which it wove with Béon’s shepherds! As we explained the mayor, the shepherds saved the vultures then the latter helped them in their turns by bringing money in the cases of Béon. The demography of the vultures and shepherds evolved besides in parallel.
La falaise est le HLM des vautours, pourtant parfois déserté pour aller manger des tapas en Espagne comme nous l’a fait remarquer notre sympathique guide Didier. Il nous a d’ailleurs apporté un foisonnement d’informations dont je ne pense pas avoir retenu l’intégralité, notamment sur la perception des vautours par les diverses cultures que j’ai trouvé très intéressant (animal de mauvaise augure chez nous, dieu chez les égyptiens, passeur chez les indien, etc.…)
The cliff is the appartement of the vultures, however deserted sometimes by them to go eat typed in Spain as we pointed out our sympathetic guides Didier. It brought us an expansion of information which I do not think having retained integrality, in particular on the perception of the vultures by the various cultures which I found very interesting (animal of bad omen on our premises, god among Egyptians, frontier runner at the Indian, etc….)
